London Family Reunion

‍In March 2026, Mother’s Choice hosted its second Global Family Reunion in London. 38 members of our extended family came together, including adoptive families, adoptees, former staff, and volunteers. It was a special time to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and celebrate the shared stories, traditions, and love that unite us.

‍Community and Authentic Relationships are core values at Mother’s Choice. Our connections do not end when people leave Hong Kong. Even as life takes us around the world, we remain united by a shared vision: for every child to grow up in a loving family.

‍At the London Reunion our CEO, Sky Siu, shared about the current challenges facing children and pregnant girls in Hong Kong, and the role of Mother’s Choice in responding to these needs. Adult adoptees found encouragement in connecting with others who shared similar adoption journeys. Adoptive parents brought their children to show them they are not alone. Former staff and volunteers were deeply moved to see babies they once cared for now thriving as school-aged children. We even welcomed a new family member who had lived at 5 Bowen Road before it became the Child Care Home!

We are deeply grateful to everyone who shared their special stories with us. One former social worker, who served at Mother’s Choice for ten years, shared, “I want our social workers and everyone at Mother’s Choice to know that your work is really valuable. It can be seen in every corner of the world, and today I saw it here in London.”

‍We look forward to reconnecting with more members from our adoption community, as well as former staff, volunteers and supporters, this summer as our Global Family Reunion continues in the United States.
